Teacher / Interventionist (Based in Eco Majestic)

Job Description

Assess Student Needs: - Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify students academic strengths and weaknesses.
  • Analyze assessment data to determine intervention strategies.
Develop and Implement Interventions: - Design and deliver personalized instructional plans to address specific learning gaps.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional methods and resources tailored to individual student needs.
Monitor and Evaluate Progress: - Track student progress through regular assessments and observations.
  • Adjust instructional strategies based on ongoing evaluation of student performance.
Collaborate with Educators: - Work closely with classroom teachers to identify students requiring additional support.
  • Share insights and strategies with teachers to enhance classroom instruction and student achievement.
Engage with Families: - Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and strategies for support at home.
  • Provide guidance and resources to families to reinforce learning outside the classroom.
Document and Report: - Maintain accurate records of student progress, intervention plans, and outcomes.
  • Prepare reports for school administration and contribute to the development of school-wide intervention strategies.
Professional Development: - Stay current with best practices in intervention and instructional strategies through ongoing professional development.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops related to student interventions and educational support.
Promote a Positive Learning Environment: - Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages student engagement and motivation.
  • Implement behavioral and academic strategies to enhance student learning and well-being.
Resource Management: - Utilize and manage educational resources and materials effectively.
  • Advocate for additional resources or support as needed to enhance intervention programs.

Qualifications:
  • Education: At least Diploma in Education, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related field;
Strong understanding of instructional practices and learning theories.
  • Ability to assess and address diverse learning needs.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and assessment tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,
  • 00 - RM3,500.00 per month
