Job Responsibilities:- Manage an assigned portfolio of clients and projects and lead teams to deliver tax services effectively. This includes corporate tax planning, tax audit and tax investigation.
Analyse latest development in direct (ie: income tax) and indirect (ie: Sales & Services Tax) tax legislation and prepare technical circulars / articles for staff and external clients.- Assist in preparation of presentation slide for tax webinar (i.e.: monthly tax update class, real estate property gains tax, company tax, transfer pricing, sales & services tax & etc)
Provide detailed technical advice to enquiries raised by staff and external clients on issues related to taxation
- Liaise with Inland Revenue Board and Royal Malaysian Customs Department on tax matters
Candidate must possess at least Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance with major in Taxation and/or professional qualification like ACCA, CPA Australia, CTIM, ICAEW or its equivalent.
- Candidate must have at least 2 years to 3 years of relevant tax experience, preferably in a public accounting firm or a corporate tax department.
Proven ability to conduct extensive research on tax matters.- Good tax knowledge and experience in all aspects of tax advisory.
Ability to set clear directions and goals for the team.
- Skills in coaching and developing team members.
