Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough technical reviews of tax computations and returns for both local and foreign entities.
- Monitor and initiate follow-up actions to expedite tax refunds and resolve outstanding tax issues and disputes with authorities.
- Assist in applying for tax incentives and other related applications to relevant authorities.
- Contribute to tax projects through research, analysis, and the provision of insightful recommendations.
- Liaise with tax authorities and customs on audits, investigations, applications, and appeals.
- Ensure timely and effective tax compliance in line with relevant legislation.
- Identify and assess potential tax risks, proposing effective risk management solutions.
- Monitor and manage the Groups overall tax efficiency.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in tax compliance, advisory, group reporting, with experience in a Big Four accounting firm being an added advantage.
- Fresh graduates will be considered as well.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and generally computer literate.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Ability to read Mandarin, as this role requires interaction with China counterparts.
