Job Purpose:
A Talent Acquisition Intern role is designed to support the recruitment and talent acquisition process within JAG Groups. It provides an opportunity to learn and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of hiring, from candidate sourcing to onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidate Sourcing & Screening:
- Assist in sourcing potential candidates using various channels such as job boards, social media, and professional networks (LinkedIn, Jobstreet, etc.).
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates based on job descriptions.
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates qualifications, experience, and fit for the role.
Interview Coordination:
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Send interview confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups to candidates and internal teams.
- Assist in preparing interview materials and ensuring a smooth interview process for all parties.
Job Posting & Employer Branding:
- Assist in drafting and posting job descriptions across various job boards and platforms.
- Help maintain and update the company's careers page, ensuring all job openings are accurate and up to date.
- Support employer branding initiatives through social media posts, campus recruitment efforts, and other promotional activities.
Candidate Relationship Management:
- Maintain a positive candidate experience by providing timely updates and feedback throughout the recruitment process.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs by tracking potential candidates.
- Assist in answering candidate inquiries and guiding them through the application process.
Data Management & Reporting:
- Keep track of candidate data and ensure that information is organized and accurate.
Onboarding Support:
- Support the onboarding process by preparing documentation and coordinating with the HR team to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Help organize orientation sessions and provide necessary materials to new employees.
Administrative Support:
- Assist the Talent Acquisition team with various administrative tasks, such as sending offer letters, tracking hiring stages, and managing internal communications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience: No prior experience is required, but internships or coursework in HR, recruiting, or related fields are a plus.
- Strong interest in recruitment and human resources.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude toward learning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Google Workspace.
