JOB DESCRIPTION
- Reporting to the Manager of Operation Solutions Section, Digital Enterprise Solutions Department.
- Provide application support to Contact Center Management System (Genesys), Live Chat System, Genesys Social Media Management, Genesys Email Management, Chatbot System, Customer Relationship Management System (CRM), e-Survey System, MicroStrategy Analytics and Reporting, Branch Queuing System.
- Plan, coordinate and lead the project's application execution to achieve the committed scope and timeline.
- Perform user requirement gathering with business users, prepare Functional Specification Document (FSD) and Technical Specification Document (TSD).
- Perform system development work and system configuration for minor change request.
- Resolve, assist and guide team members on complex issues related to application.
- Identify application development improvement opportunities and action plans.
- Perform first level support, troubleshooting and maintenance to ensure system availability and healthiness.
- Carry out periodic system maintenance exercise e.g. housekeeping, health checks.
- Work closely with business partner, technology team (Infrastructure, Network, Security, Application, Enterprise Architecture) and vendors in delivering solutions and system maintenance activities.
- Implement appropriate processes, development standards and system improvements to improve system stability and performance.
- Continuously learn and stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in IT technologies, to have passion for learning and adapt to new technologies and tools for long-term success.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Malaysian citizen.
- Not below 21 years old on the closing date of application.
- Pass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level.
- Possess Degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent qualification in relevant field recognized by the government.
- Has at least 5 years of working experience in application development, design and application support.
- Experience or knowledge in understanding the concepts of APIs and integrating programs with third-party systems is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of Operating Systems i.e. Linux and Windows is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, php or similar.
- Proficient in SQL and database management.
- Good understanding of network protocols and infrastructure is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge or experience in reporting and analytics will be an added advantage.
- Good problem solving and analytical skills, self-learning ability, team player and willingness to learn and share.
- Familiar and experienced with Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC) and Application/Program Testing procedures.
- Able to plan and organize their work, set priorities, manage deadlines, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, is advantageous.
- Ability to see a task through from assignment to completion with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to learn and share any information acquired.
- Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written correspondence) in a professional manner with technical and non-technical personnel.
- A self-starter, able to multi-task and independent.
- Able to work during non-office hours.
