Key Responsibilities:- System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and related software, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
Monitoring and Maintenance:
Monitor system performance, perform regular backups, and conduct security audits and patch management.Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, providing support for system outages and other problems.User Support: Provide technical support and guidance to users and IT team members regarding Windows system issues.
- Network Management: Collaborate with network administrators to ensure the smooth and reliable operation of network services and resources.
Security Management:
Implement and enforce security policies, including user access controls and data protection measures.Documentation:
Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.Automation and Scripting: Develop and implement scripts and automation tools to streamline system management tasks.
- Compliance: Ensure systems comply with organizational policies and industry standards.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (Windows Server 2016, 2019, etc.).- Proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core Windows services.
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments.
