rhi is currently recruiting for a Supply Planning SME to roll-out and adoption of Kinaxis Planning tool for a major energy clients supply planning team from their Bangsar South and Port Klang offices

The role
Support a new planning tool implementation (Kinaxis) and Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for supply/inventory and distribution planning processes for Malaysia
*Note: Specific experience with Kinaxis is preferred but not essential
- Support the new Planning Tool implementation (Kinaxis) and Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for supply/inventory and distribution planning processes for Malaysia
- Co-Lead the master data clean-up and update task for the Malaysian market both in JDE and Kinaxis tools, with support from the local planning team
- Support the validation of Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and End to End process model according to the regional timelines
- Act and be a super user in Kinaxis (KRR) and be responsible for training the end-users on the new tool for supply planning (MRP/DRP/Inventory/Production)
- Participate in Kinaxis design workshops and processes for supply/inventory planning, validate/align the processes for Malaysia & export markets of Port Klang.
- Highlight and identify gaps between current and to-be processes in Kinaxis and resolve the issues/gaps along with the project team and the Malaysian markets on a regular basis, while striving for gap closure within agreed timelines.
- Ensure quality of operational data and data validation in the new system, while constantly aligning with the business requirements.
- Ensure that any agreed new supply processes integrate with the local market processes, if deviations from regional standards exist.
- Support the UAT /test scenario planning, model validation, user flow validation and functional training of supply planning module in Kinaxis and ensure alignment with Malaysia team & extended team of export markets.
- This role will work closely with AsPac and Global Planning team, I&E, local supply planners and Kinaxis team and support hyper care after implementation and launch. The role will be required to work outside the normal hours due to the different time zones involved in the project.
- This role may be requested to support markets outside Malaysia, according to business requirements
Requirements-
- Expert in Supply/inventory planning process and minimum 2-4 years
- Experience with SAP and JDE experience (Supply chain modules) - Any Kinaxis experience is a bonus
- Ideally exposure to large scale Planning System Implementation and Migration.
- Must have experience in process mapping and data checking, is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally in English, both written and verbally, to wide variety of audiences
- Demonstrated track record of working with teams within complex, matrix organizations with a significant number of stakeholders.
- Self-driven, resourceful and results-oriented, plans effectively and works well in a team or individually
- Experience of managing internal teams and change of management processes, while working with external stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration and excellent team skills and experience in working with cross-functional and multi-cultural teams
- Working knowledge of JDE and/or SAP and Kinaxis planning tool, especially for supply planning modules
- Though based in Bangsar South office, the role requires to travel to Port Klang a few times a week to be with the wider planning team (plant location)
