The position

We are looking for Supply Coordinator who will be functionally reporting to Supply Manager in Kuala Lumpur.

About the location/department

The position will be located at Kuala Lumpur which is the heart of the city and easy to get to by public transportation.

Who you are

Diploma graduate in Supply Chain related studies or relevant work experience.

Good planning and organising skills.

Well verse in MS Excel.

Ability to systematically work independently and in a team, encouraging and respecting the contribution of others and volunteering information and ideas.

Able to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities.

Computer literate

Additional expectations of the role

Able to commit and work on first half Saturday (morning session) and weekday split shift (night shift: 8 p.m. -10 p.m.) on a rotation basis.

Able to follow Singapore Public Holidays.

What you will be doing

Ensure there is continuous communication on the availability and lead times of products with Customer Service, transport, warehouse, expediting and procurement department.

Continuous follow up on quotes and orders with sub-status Awaiting approval.

Process orders including non-available items:

Order non-available items.

Scan Delivery Notes when applicable.

Create invoice for closed orders.

Maintain required control reports and documentation.

Assist other departments as needed on stock orders and purchase orders.

Any other responsibility put forward by Manager not covered by this Functional Description (within reasonable limits).
