Job Description
The Supply Chain Manager leads the local Supply Chain team. The Operations function ensures the integration of all key business processes from supplier to customers, providing products, services and information that add value for customers and stakeholders. The function manages sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, supply chain (warehousing, logistics and distribution) and planning processes and ensures optimal alignment between demand and supply at a global scale, taking into account efficiency, required flexibility, security of supply and considering costs, working capital, quality levels, service levels, company and society values.
Responsibilities
- Is the first point of contact within a cluster of countries for matters related to the supply chain.
- Delivers, executes and monitors actual performance against annual operating plans, including service, quality and accuracy levels and budget, taking into account short-and long-term flexibility in cost base to assure competitiveness of the local supply chain function.
- Ensures the execution of local logistic services and customer services to ensure customer demand is fulfilled within budget/global guidelines.
- Lead and guide the local IBP / demand planning process. Executes local demand planning and coordinates local co-packing activities.
- Creates and aligns local annual operational plan for logistics based on central Supply Chain (top-down) targets in terms of costs, activity scope, projects, priorities and agreed service levels.
- Ensures a governance framework for monitoring, control and reporting on all of the above.
- Exhibits a strong focus on people development within own area and consistently improve capabilities and engagement in the direct and indirect team.
Qualifications
Must have:
- Minimum of 7 years leading experience in FMCG operations (Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing)
- Experienced working in a cross-boundary /multi-cultural environment;
- Proven results in achieving excellent targets; eg. cost reduction (WD, Stock, etc.), improving customer service level, etc.;
- Excellent analytical skills;
- Proven results in building successful teams;
- Results oriented mindset.
