KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :Responsible for the supply chain (purchasing, warehouse, and logistics)
Including but not limited to the following:
- Oversees and manages overall supply chain and logistics operations to maximize efficiency and minimize cost of organization's supply chain
Plan purchasing activities and manage inventory of direct materials to meet customer requirements and achieve targeted inventory turns. Execute purchasing of indirect materials.- Capability to source for competitively-priced goods & services. Seek cost savings from incumbent suppliers.
Manage logistics and warehouse operations, i.e. receiving goods and picking of goods, to achieve a short turnaround time.
- Control inventory movements to ensure accuracy.
Comply with rules and regulations imposed by various licensing authorities e.g. Customs, MIDA and Local council.- Manage efficient delivery of inbound and outbound goods.
Manage and monitor vendor's qualification and performance to ensure they meet company's requirements
- Contribute to short and long term departmental planning / strategy & KPIs
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management / Purchasing or equivalent
At least 5 years in supply chain management or procurement experience
- Good to excellent ability with MS office productivity tools.
Ability to think strategically and logically.- Ability to coach and develop others.
Strong analytic ability
- Good in multi-tasking and prioritizing work assignments
Knowledge of AX Dynamics system will be an advantage
