Job Summary
The
Supply Chain Finance Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of supply chain operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and driving process improvements. This role requires a blend of financial acumen and strong operational expertise in supply chain management, including OEM, procurement, logistics, and warehouse finance.
The main stakeholders for this position are mainly the Finance & Accounting team and Supply Chain team; the position is also playing a critical role as business partnering between the Finance function and Supply Chain Function.
Job Responsibilities
- Supply Chain Operations Management:
- Oversee and manage supply chain costs, including transportation, warehousing, and procurement.
- Monitor and analyze cost and performance of OEMs, identifying variances and recommending improvements.
- Collaborate with procurement to track commodity material prices and assess their impact on business costs.
- Ensure effective cost control measures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Prepare and report on monthly performance, including COGS cost tracking and productivity savings.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and variances, providing insights for decision-making.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes for supply chain operations.
- Process Improvement and Cost Reduction:
- Lead and participate in productivity and process improvement projects.
- Implement initiatives to reduce costs and enhance efficiency across supply chain operations.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to drive strategic and financial support for optimization projects.
- Inventory and Logistics Management:
- Manage inventory, including material master costing, intercompany pricing, and stock count reviews.
- Monitor logistics costs and collaborate with the logistics team to implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of logistics activities and costs.
- Internal Controls and Compliance:
- Ensure internal controls are in place for all supply chain processes.
- Implement improvements recommended by internal and external auditors.
- Handle requests from auditors and provide necessary documentation and analysis

Skills And Experience
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Business or Finance/Accounting graduate.
- Experience: At least 3 years in supply chain finance or a related role, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems - SAP , strong Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus point.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Operational Expertise: Experience in OEM, procurement, logistics, and warehouse finance.
- Proactive and Independent: Ability to handle responsibilities independently and proactively.
Must Have:-
Technical/Work-based Skills
- Good knowledge of FMCG, esp. beverage industry
- Good understanding of financial statement analysis and reporting
- Understanding Business Process
- Having a good Microsoft office skills
Good To Have
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) skills
- FMCG background, preferable in OEM or Factory Manufacturing background.
- Understanding of financial statement analysis
- Good understanding of supply chain process
Experience
- Business analysis or relevant role, At least 4 years of working experience in FMCG industry
