Role OverviewAs a LUSH Supervisor, you support the Store Manager in driving sales, maintaining high standards of store presentation, and fostering a positive work environment. You play a crucial role in leading the team, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring that the store upholds LUSHs ethical beliefs and practices. Your responsibilities will blend elements of people management, operational efficiency, and sales support.
Team Support and Development- Assist the Store Manager in motivating and developing staff.
Provide daily guidance and feedback to team members to enhance their performance.- Participate in training staff on customer service, product knowledge, and company policies.
Sales and Operational Support- Help drive sales and support the achievement of financial targets.
Assist with scheduling, stock management, and cost control to ensure efficient store operations.- Contribute to maintaining a high standard of store presentation and cleanliness.
Customer Experience- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service.
Observe and support customer interactions on the shop floor to ensure a 5-star experience.
Communication and Leadership
- Facilitate effective communication among staff, both on and off the shop floor.
Support the Store Manager in delegating tasks and managing the team.
- Provide coaching and feedback to help team members improve their skills and knowledge.
Supportive Environment
- Encourage a respectful and supportive workplace culture.
Assist in creating a fun and dynamic atmosphere within the store.
Sales and Performance- Support the Store Manager in analyzing sales performance and understanding business drivers.
Help implement plans to improve sales results and meet financial goals.Store Maintenance
Ensure the store is clean, well-merchandised, and that stock is fresh.
- Assist with maintaining back-of-house areas to be safe and organized.
Compliance and Procedures
- Follow cash handling procedures and ensure adherence to company policies.
Help manage store operations within budgetary constraints.
Team Development- Assist in the development and recruitment of team members.
Support the Store Manager in managing performance and addressing any issues.Goal Achievement
Contribute to achieving store goals and objectives set by the Store Manager.
- Participate in regular reviews and feedback sessions to track progress.
Personal Growth- Take responsibility for your own development by seeking out learning opportunities and feedback.
Engage with other Supervisors and Managers within the LUSH network to share knowledge and gain new insights.
