DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Guide and supervisor EMGS team to ensure effectiveness of end to end services to international students on every need of their student pass processes that includes submissionn of applications, endorsements, transfers of endorsement, extensions/renewals, cancellations, besides duties involving pre arrival and post arrival, medical screening and other matters
Key liaison person with government office in JPA/ PTPTN/ Immigration and other Authorities- Ensure all regulatory compliance in regards to policies, procedures and regulation implementation by Immigration Department of Malaysia (IDM) and EMGS are followed through closely and close attention and timely execution to any of IDM and EMGS must be met.
Ensure regular update and accurate information on the IPT Formation Management System (IFMS) & receipts
- Key Liaison person within the faculty and ISO in monitoring international student attendance, ensuring student presence is vital in the university, compile and submit relevant reports as requested by Immigration, KDN and MOHEs regulatory bodies.
Provide services to students including those involving requests for verification documents, replacement of student ID, update and maintain the academic calendar- Provide and ensure timely engagement with international students about their visa matters and enforcement regulations affecting their visas.
Monitor academic progress of international students and consultations and support for students who have high rate of absenteeeism or poor academic achievements.
- Liaise with relevant members of faculty and other admin departments to identify issues pertaining to personal welfare and campus matters concerning international students.
Collate, report monthly international stock take, develop remedial actions with relevant departments and regulatory bodies.- Play a pivotal role for the University's International Student Society and as the primary contact for international students requiring necessary support.
Manage matters related to indemnity insurance and payment for clinical attachment.
- Assist in the setting-up and maintaining a computerized database of student records.
Assist in organizing orientations/events related to convocation and other university events.- Any other tasks as assigned by the Management of Perdana University
Process and respond to feedback received from students and parents
- Assist in planning and participate in road shows, education fairs and other marketing activities as may be required.
Qualifications :
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in any related field of study
3 years of experience
in International Student Office Management and duties, preferably from university background.MUST have strong
understanding and regulations of Immigration and KDN matters and student visa application process. Detail oriented, meticulous and analytical and good organisation and planning skills
- Posess good communication skills for oral and written in Malay and English.
