• Role Description

KA Petra is seeking a Senior Strategy Analyst for a full-time and hybrid role located in the Klang Valley, with flexibility for some remote work. The Senior Strategy Analyst will support the development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives, providing analytical and research-based guidance to meet business objectives. The Analyst should bring sharp business acumen and demonstrate an appetite for complex problem-solving.

• Key Responsibilities

Growth Strategy: Assist in the development and execution of growth strategies aligned with the company's key business pillars with a focus on expanding existing businesses in new markets and exploring new business opportunities along the value chain.

Market Research: Undertake market research and analysis, including monitoring competitors and market dynamics, evaluate market potential, and identify investment opportunities.Strategic Planning and Execution: Assist in the development of strategic plans, financial models, investment proposals and deal structures, and participate in transaction negotiations and execution of transactions.

• Portfolio and Project Management: Monitor the management and performance of the business portfolio, including collecting and analyzing business units, subsidiaries and projects performance, identifying value creation opportunities, and implementing strategies to maximize returns.

• Fundamental skills required:

Strong project management skills with attention to detail

• Willingness to work long hours

Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills

• Proficient in modern tech stacks

Basic knowledge of corporate law

• Financial modeling

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market data, evaluate risks, and make data-driven investment decisions

• Specific Qualifications Required

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or any related field

• 2 to 5 years of work experience in an accounting, investment banking or consulting firm

Energetic team player with the ability to work independently

• Strong ability to work laterally across different business units and vertically across all levels.

Open to constant change in an ambiguous, fast paced environment, a self-starter, open to work across different time zones and diverse customer base.

• Ability to start immediately

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
