Receive, inspect, and verify the quality and quantity of incoming goods.- Organize and store items in designated locations to optimize space and accessibility.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including stock levels, reorder points, and stock discrepancies.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile physical stock with inventory records.
Process incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.- Prepare and package goods for dispatch, ensuring they are securely and correctly labeled.
Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to track deliveries and manage returns or exchanges.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase requisitions for replenishment as needed.
Identify and address issues related to stock shortages, overstocking, or damaged goods.- Implement and maintain effective stock control procedures to minimize waste and losses.
Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and transfers.
- Generate regular reports on stock levels, inventory turnover, and other key metrics.
Ensure that all storage areas are clean, organized, and comply with health and safety regulations.- Work closely with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure inventory aligns with business needs.
Provide support for special projects or tasks as assigned by management.
