Job Description

BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT

Location: Malaysia
  • Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Regularly update the inventory system to reflect current stock levels.
Conduct regular stock checks and audits to identify discrepancies.
  • Receiving and Dispatch:
Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against the accompanying documents.
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of received goods.
Prepare and dispatch outgoing shipments in a timely and organized manner.
  • Quality Control:
Inspect incoming goods for quality and report any issues to the relevant department.
  • Monitor the condition of stored items to prevent damage or deterioration.
  • Documentation:
Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation for all transactions.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
  • Space Management:
Optimize the use of storage space to ensure efficient utilization.
  • Arrange goods in a logical and accessible manner to facilitate easy retrieval.
  • Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations in the handling of goods.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
  • Communication:
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate stock movements and fulfill requests.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and freight companies.
  • Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure that all equipment used in the warehouse, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, are well-maintained and in good working condition.
  • Qualifications and Skills:
Additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Good physical fitness and the ability to handle manual tasks.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,
  • 00 - RM2,300.00 per month
