We are seeking for suitable candidates to join us as Oncology Nurses or OPD staffs.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate an advanced level of clinical knowledge and skills relating to oncology
nursing to provide clinical and professional guidance to the team.- Ensure continuity of a high standard of evidence-based nursing care for patients and
their families
- Ensure comprehensive health assessment of patients
Ensure documentation is aligned with current legislation requirements- Safe handling and administration of chemotherapy and other cancer treatments as per
protocols to patients
- Educate and support patient/family throughout continuum of care
Perform phlebotomy, cannulation and insertion of venous access devices- Provide health education of chemotherapy to patients and family
Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Work closely with the managers and organisation to ensure the provision of safe and
efficient services- To maintain best standards of practice in accordance Ministry of Health regulations
Assist Oncologists in clinic for daily routine.
- Assist with appoitnment booking, locating relevant literature, chaperoning.
Ensure all procedures in clinic are done such as phlebotomy, dressing, etc.- Conducting a safe handover of care to the Daycare or hospital if patients are to be admitted.
Requirements:- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
Possess a valid APC
- Post-basic in Oncology Nursing will be desirable
Minimum of three (3) years of working experience in oncology care is required- Fresh Graduate are encourage to apply as Clinic Staff
