In your new role you will:
- Support Project Teams
- Provide technical support to project teams in Penang for analog IPs development using Infineon Design System.
- Be the first point of contact for any issues, and resolve them promptly.
- Problem-Solving and Collaboration
- Take ownership of support topics and find solutions.
- Collaborate with global teams and vendors to resolve issues within Infineon Design System.
- Ensure effective communication with IT and License Management teams to provide necessary resources and licenses.
- Methodology Adoption and Best Practices
- Understand design methodologies within Infineon Design System.
- Help project teams adopt these methodologies and share best practices across business lines.
- Contribute to the knowledge base to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify methodology gaps and propose quick solutions.
- Collaborate with methodology teams for long-term improvements.
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Qualifications: Possess a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering and with good foundation of Analog Mixed Signal support.
- Experience: Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in analog design, implementation, verification, and validation. Familiar with the complexities and challenges of analog mixed signal IPs development.
- Cadence Tools: Have experience working with Cadence schematic, layout editor, and LVS/DRC (Layout versus Schematic/Design Rule Check) tools. Proficiency in these tools is crucial for designing and validating analog mixed signal IPs.
- Script Programming: Possess exposure to script programming languages, such as Perl/Python. Be able to automate and customize design flows and methodologies, leading to improved efficiency and productivity.
- Team Player and Communication Skills: Exhibit strong team work abilities and possess excellent communication skills.
- Effective collaboration and communication with project teams, EDA vendors, and other stakeholders are essential for successful analog mixed signal IPs development.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrate a proactive problem-solving mentality, being able to identify issues and provide effective solutions. This mindset is critical for resolving design challenges and improving overall efficiency in the development process.
- Knowing Skill programming is an advantage.
- Advantages: Be able to support EDA tools for transistor-level simulation, such as Cadence Spectre or HSPICE. This expertise enables efficient design and verification of analog circuits.
