A Transport Order Manager (TOM) is responsible for the on-time and accurate delivery of 3rd party access circuits used to deliver AT&T products and services . During the implementation phase, the TOM will act as the primary interface for AT&T customers (both internal and external), AT&T business partners and all relevant AT&T internal departments during the access circuit installation. The TOM will also be responsible for order processing and order tracking as well as the co-ordination of all internal (Project Implementation Managers, Sales and Engineering Teams etc.) and external (customer, telecommunications carriers & partners) project coordination activities
Roles And Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the implementation of service(s) as defined by the customer's official order (external customer) or officially sanctioned internal works order (internal customer).
- Manage the overall circuit implementation of required service(s).
- Ensure project timelines are met (i.e. project is commenced and completed on time).
- Ensure the compliance and standard of company and organizational policies and procedures are met.
- Manage and provide feedback to the customer (internal or external) as required throughout the implementation phase.
- Manage and provide feedback to relevant AT&T Teams e.g. Project Coordinators, Sales, Engineering
- Accurately administer, monitor and maintain AT&T implementation toolsets and databases.
- Coordinate with AT&T Network Field Operations for any cabling requirements at our Points of Presence
- Track, report and resolve implementation issues with the customer, suppliers or AT&T Teams.
- Arrange testing of access circuits if and as required.
- Hand-over of access circuit to and obtain formal acceptance from customer (internal or external).
- Work with AT&T Circuit Administration to resolve any potential issues around payment of 1st invoice to access suppliers if required.
- Provide Management with regular updates and monthly report(s) on implementation activities.

Education And Qualifications
o Secondary Education essential, Tertiary preferred
- Work experience/strong background in the Telecommunication Industry an advantage but not essential
Additional Information
- Basic understanding of Telecommunications Circuit Technology
- Fluency in Written and Spoken English and in the language of country they support.
- Knowledge and understanding about culture of the country they support is a plus
