JOB SCOPE: Well Production simulation & Well Lifting technique selection
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop detailed well production simulation report along with the reasoning behind the selected well lifting technique, that needs to be optimal, technically and commercially.
- Assist with day-to-day technical questions and concerns from customers and regional operations.
- Work closely with the Well service EIS teams, to access more well data and challenges that clients are looking at resolving.
- Continuous communicate with WLS TSR's, to monitor and support the progress of the opportunities. Provide them with needed simulations and ideas to solve the challenges.
- Work with Geo-Zone TSR and independently to secure WLS Rejuvenation opportunities by attending the technical meetings, customer presentations and seminars and other customer visits domestically and internationally.
- Participate as a co-author in technical papers as requested
- Attend Well Integrity and Real-time Surveillance conferences/workshops as needed to better understand industry requirements and competitor positions
- Work with Product Line Manager to define implementation and growth strategies for Well Rejuvenation products and services on a Geo Zone basis.
- Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality System Manual, Operating and technical Procedures, and Workplace instructions.
- Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
- Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constrains of the job
Skills & Knowledge
- Permanent monitoring systems, installation and operation of permanent monitoring systems, well completions, training skills
- Optical sensing systems, electronic downhole gauge systems, intelligent completions.
- The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
Minimum Qualifications
- B. S. degree or equivalent or 7 years oil and gas or sensing industry technical experience or equivalent, including 5 years permanent monitoring products and systems operations and installation or equivalent, experience in technical training
- Formal training in optics, mechanical and/or electronic engineering
