Job Summary:
Technical selling of life science products, building new customer accounts and managing key accounts, and achieving the sales targets for assigned businesses/territories and overall business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for key account management, to grow existing business and provide strong after sales support to customers.
- Engage in sales activities by exploring new markets, and identify and develop new accounts.
- Responsible to promote and manage range of products to the designated territories.
- Drive sales activities of laboratory molecular biology reagents, instruments & consumables.
- Meeting sales forecast and budget.
- Handle enquiry, conduct field visits product presentations and demonstrations.
- Systematic market mapping and market intelligence gathering & dissemination.
- Submit regular reports covering sales activities, sales strategies, performance, and planning to reach nominated targets.
- Able to organize workshop and present for seminars or any marketing activities in customer sites.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master Molecular Biology, Biology, Biotechnology , Biomedical, Biochemistry, Medical Science or related studies.
- At least 1 year and above experience sales in related field
- Minimum one to three years experience in a similar role
- Demonstrate industry/ market knowledge in scientific instruments (life science) but not limited to genomics instruments in Malaysia.
- Technical knowledge NGS, flow cytometry, molecular biology, cell biology, and proteomics is an added advantage
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills, possess analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skill
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
