Job Description:
- To perform General Accounting day-to-day transactions and ensuring delivery quality in terms of accuracy, completeness and timeliness on a daily basis.
- To accurately process all General Accounting transactions and activities within the given time frame.
- All transactions should be processed i.e. entered into system or rejected according to the established process and procedures.
- To ensure the accuracy and the completeness of the transaction processed.
- Review and book accounting transactions based on Business Groups inputs.
- Maintain master data i.e. general ledger account codes, internal orders, cost centers, profit centers etc based on Business Groups inputs.
- Perform analytical review and clearing of open items in Balance Sheet accounts.
- Perform analytical review and analysis of Balance Sheet accounts inclusive of trend analysis and highlighting abnormalities to General Accounting Team Lead.
- Execute month end closing tasks in accordance with work instructions and month end close schedule/checklist.
Requirements :
- A degree/diploma/ professional certificate in the related job field.
- Those with 2 to 5 years of working exposure or experience in a similar role.
- Candidate with experience in SAP / RPA would be an added advantage.
- Willing to be based at Penang.
