To partner with intermediaries in order to profitably grow the business, and meet sales and growth target according to Company guidelines and delegated authorities.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the implementation of strategies to attract and retain high value corporate clients to meet or exceed annual financial targets set.
- Participate in all relevant meetings in order to share and develop strategy, knowledge and best practice.
- Maintain current knowledge of insurance guidelines and policy changes and modifications and recommending changes to Company policies and procedures where appropriate.
- Establish and develop relationships and promote company image with key clients and corporate clients.
- Review service and performance standards against expectations with corporate clients.
- Establish and develop good working relationships with all existing corporate clients within the assigned channel territory.
- Developing new business and new relationships with corporate clients to achieve agreed sales targets.
- Review existing portfolios and recommend strategies for increased growth.
- Learn about new products and understand commission structures for each product in order to enhance the relationships with clients.
- Provide senior technical and specialist product expertise to corporate clients on the range of products offered.
- Sells products and services via allocated channel.
- Manage the portfolio product mix for the allocated channel territory.
- Gathers market intelligence on competitors and competitor products.
- Develop, present and negotiate corporate clients requirements, and execute Account Approach plans.
Requirements:
- Customer-oriented with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to deliver on agreed business targets.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Tertiary graduate with professional qualifications in insurance or related disciplines.
