Job Responsibilities:- Support Role: Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and take on responsibilities in their absence.
Operational Focus:
Ensure the efficient preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes.Quality Control:
Maintain consistency in food quality and presentation.Inventory Management: Help with inventory checks, stock management, and ordering supplies.
- Kitchen Management: Assist in managing kitchen operations, including maintaining cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety standards.
Team Management:
Supervise kitchen staff, assist with training, and ensure tasks are completed according to established standards.Team Support:
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations.Health and Safety Compliance: Follow health and safety regulations and food safety standards to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
Culinary Degree or Equivalent Experience: Possess a culinary degree or equivalent experience in the culinary field to showcase your skills and knowledge.
- Good Knowledge in Cuisine and Relevant Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Strong Culinary Skills and Leadership Experience:
Proven proficiency in culinary techniques and previous experience in leading kitchen teams.Knowledge of Food Safety and Sanitation Regulations:
In-depth understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations, with a commitment to adherence.Communication and Organizational Skills: Strong communication abilities and organizational aptitude to effectively coordinate kitchen activities.
