About You:

We are seeking a Solution Architect to join our Enterprise Architecture team. You will work in close collaboration with business functions and our Global Technology Services (GTS) teams (Customer Platforms, Data Solutions, Finance Platforms, Employee Platforms) in these areas:

Business Architecture:

Analyse, capture, and represent business capabilities, processes, & value streams.

Solution Architecture:

Provide solution ownership for our larger scale, cross functional solutions, often spanning multiple delivery projects.

Enterprise Architecture:

Support the Enterprise Architect in management of the overall landscape, including governance, standards, guardrails and best practice.

Day-to-day, you will:

• Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand and capture business requirements, stories, benefits and technical specifications.
• Collaboration with technical stakeholders (product owners, technical teams, SME's, vendors) to architect a solution to satisfy business needs and technical requirements.
• Understanding of and ability to apply the BDAT approach to architecture.
• Leverage architecture patterns, blueprints, Well Architected Frameworks in creation of solutions.
• Identification and management of solution risk.
• Creation of artefacts (documents, views, presentations) to cater for a wide variety of stakeholders (technical stakeholders through to business stakeholders)
• Leadership. Provide solution leadership, guiding delivery teams.
• Keeps up to date with emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Operate within governance framework. Supporting leading the governance process.
• Develop roadmaps to articulate near term through to longer term change and transformation initiatives.
• Contribute to technology strategy.
• Evangelise - Formulate and lead conversations with a compelling picture of the commercial benefits of Enterprise and Solution Architecture.
• Win buy-in and investment from non-technical counterparts/sponsors.

Skills and Experience:

• A proven track record of delivering value-adding EA/SA work in a fast-paced, complex commercial environment.
• Ability to easily form good relationships with peers and stakeholders; emotional intelligence; balanced perspective.
• Hunger to make a material difference to a business with a lot of runway ahead of it in respect to the maturity of EA/SA practices.
• A high level of familiarity with one or more EA/SA tools, which can easily be ported to The Access Group's strategic tooling choice.
• Breadth of technology understanding spanning technology (on-prem / cloud) and applications.
• Ideally familiarity with one or more of: CRM Solutions , ERP Solutions ,HCM Solutions.
