Solution Architect

Purpose of Role

The Solution Architect is responsible for the overall design of the application and mapping the business requirements to systems/technical requirements. The Solution Architect works together with the Business Analyst, Project Manager and Developer to deliver the complete solution for the Business User. The Solution Architect provides the design for development align with the business solution requirement. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the PNB's businesses, operating model and business challenges, together with the technology available for creating a fully integrated and successful business solution.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field.

Certified IT Architect or have attended IT Architecture training is an added advantage.

Minimum 2 years of working experience in the financial sector, preferably in investment and unit trust.

Minimum 5 years of experience working through the standard Software Development Life Cycle in delivering business solutions.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of users and IT team.

Ability to communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately at all relevant levels in the organization.

Excellent command of language in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Strong knowledge in web application development and familiarity with SQL databases.

Good understanding of current application development standards, methodologies and issues.
