Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Design
a) Analyze product requirements and technical specifications to create comprehensive test plans.
b) Design test cases, scenarios, and scripts that cover all aspects of software
functionality.
c) Identify test objectives, entry and exit criteria, and required resources.
Test Execution.
a) Execute manual and automated tests on various platforms, including web, mobile,
and desktop applications.
b) Conduct functional, regression, = performance, stress, usability, and security testing.
c) Report and track bugs using bug-tracking tools, providing detailed steps to reproduce
issues.
d) Verify bug fixes and ensure software changes have not introduced new defects.
Collaboration
a) Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and design.
b) Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
c) Provide feedback on product quality and suggest improvements in design and functionality.
Documentation
a) Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
b) Document and communicate testing outcomes, including the severity and impact of defects.
c) Contribute to the development of user documentation and training materials.
Continuous Improvement
a) Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging testing methodologies.
b) Propose and implement improvements to the testing process and automation frameworks.
c) Participate in peer reviews and share knowledge with team members to enhance testing practices
Qualification / Experience / Skill Requirements:
Preferred Bachelors Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
Knowledge of software testing, with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and APIs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
