Responsibilities
The Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer (I) role will be responsible for providing end-to-end user/ business support for testing and quality assurance of the solution during project delivery. The QA is expected to:
- Test requirement analysis, test case writing, and test report output to ensure test quality.
- To provide end-to-end user/ business support for the solution and application in project delivery. To assist and execute test cases for new application requirements.
- To troubleshoot and analyze application issues.
- To manage and deploy application fixes/version releases into various test environments.
- To perform the testing and quality assurance tasks and test independently.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- At least 3 Years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Experience with ERP systems, digital applications, and mobile applications.
- Experience in the telecommunications sector will be an advantage.
- Understand the basic concepts of Unix, Linux, programming, database and SQL.
- Analytical mind and problem-solving attitude.
- Can-do attitude.s
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good communication skills in English
- The ability to speak in Mandarin is an advantage but not a must.
- Good understanding of DevOps, Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
