Software Connectivity & Trouble Shooting: Provide technical support and expertise to ensure the smooth functioning and optimal performance of Topcon Healthcare software solutions that facilitates image acquisition, enhancement, measurement, and analysis.
- This role involves diagnosing and resolving software issues, assisting distributors [from several regions] and customers with software-related inquiries, and facilitating the effective use of Topcon software products.
The Software Engineer plays a critical role in enhancing customer satisfaction, improving software reliability, and supporting healthcare providers in their daily operations.- To address customers requests/complaints on software, database, OS, network troubles and other software related support.
Provide remote support to customers and distributors on image management software, database, storage, Operating Systems, networking and other software related enquiries which is not limited to Topcon solutions only able to link Non-Topcon products with our solution.- Fully responsible for post-sales complaint / inquiry handling of software.
Liaise with product specialist department in case of product feature inquiry after sales.
- Able to understand the infrastructure of our solutions and communicate with new and existing medical solutions such as EMR, HIS, HL7, DICOM, PACS and others.
On-job-training and in house training [if required].
- To maintain a complete log of queries/complaints from customers/distributors, and to build a reusable database for future query/complaint handling.
Self-study with software manual and receive trainings from suppliers to get familiarized with the products. (Acquire certification if needed)
To strictly comply with predetermined KPIs and periodically and voluntarily report the task status.- To strictly follow companys job dispatching/assignment system to prevent errors and delay from happening.
Task oriented and able to work as a team with minimal supervision.
To actively propose improved way of doing things to make it more efficient and accurate.
- To improve customers satisfaction level that is assessed through periodical customer satisfaction survey.
To adhere to continuous trainings and self-study plan, and make sure the progress of the execution.
Bachelors degree (With majors in Computer Science/Engineering)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
