Software QA Engineer

Job Purpose

We are looking for detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to join us to help ensure the quality and reliability of all software that we develop.

As a Software QA Engineer, it'll fall on you to identify bugs, verify functionality, and ensuring our applications meet (and preferably exceed) our clients expectations.

• Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive testing of our applications.

• Planning, creating & executing detailed test plans and test cases in an agile environment across different environments and projects.

You will be expected to develop a working knowledge of the applications you test, including their configurations and available functionality.

• Verify UI elements (buttons, menus, icons, text labels) are visually consistent with design mockups such as Adobe XD or Figma.

Identify and document bugs encountered during testing, including detailed steps to reproduce the issue. You will utilize our internal defect-tracking software to report issues/bugs.

• Write and execute database queries to verify data accuracy and consistency. You will analyze the retrieved data to ensure it aligns with expected outcomes and business.

• Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

• Experience with automated testing tools or frameworks is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

• Ability to work with a diverse project team.

Familiarity with database querying is a plus.

• Familiarity with API tools (for examples Swagger, Postman) to analyze API responses to ensure data accuracy, error handling, and adherence to business logic is a plus.

Excellence in verbal and written communication skills.
