Kardex AutoStore specializes in innovative automated storage and retrieval solutions. We are seeking a motivated self-starter to join our team in the role of Software Implementation Engineer, to be based in Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur. The Software Implementation Engineer will be responsible for the successful deployment of the Kardex FulfillX software platform for our customers. This role involves configuring, testing, training, and supporting the implementation (Level 2) of our software solutions in collaboration with project teams, product centre (Level 3) and customers. The ideal candidate thrives in a multifaceted role combining warehouse operations, software development, IT hardware, and extensive experience in WMS application.

Responsibilities:
Configure and test the Kardex software system to meet customer specifications and operational requirements.
Develop and execute internal, interface, and integrated test plans with AutoStore systems, Kardex software, client host systems, and other integrated technologies.
Collaborate closely with Commissioning Engineers to conduct end-to-end testing of the integrated system, focusing on the FulfillX software.
Develop and lead training sessions for customer personnel on the functionality and operation of the FulfillX software system.
Provide ongoing support to customers during the post-handover ramp-up phase.
Take ownership of the FulfillX software system deployed on the AutoStore demo grid across APAC, ensuring readiness for customer visits, testing initiatives, and software updates.
Perform level 2 support by addressing the calls / tickets from customers and/or Kardex Level 1 and technicians.
Escalate and coordinate Level 3 topics with Kardex FulfillX Product centre.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related fields.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent troubleshooting ability and proficiency in software, Database management (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL), and IT hardware.
Proficiency in SQL Scripting is highly desirable.
Knowledge and experience with .NET Framework software deployment would be a significant advantage.
Knowledge and experience with Python and C# would be a significant advantage.
Exposure to Business Intelligence like PowerBI is desirable
Minimum of 3 years experience in software deployment or automation systems; experience with AutoStore is advantageous.
Background in working within project teams, ideally in project or commissioning environments.
Prepare to take on out of office Level 2 calls.
Proficiency in MS Office suite and similar software programs.
