Your role
We seek an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to lead and mentor our software engineering team, drive technical excellence, and successfully deliver high-quality software products. You will bring strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for innovation in a fast-paced environment.
Your challenges
Leadership and Strategy:
Develop and implement a strategic vision for the engineering team.
Align engineering goals with company objectives and product roadmaps.
Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of software engineers, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
Hands-On Development:
Actively write and review code to maintain high standards of software quality.
Engage in architecture and design discussions, providing technical guidance and leadership.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating them into our projects where beneficial.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate closely with product management, marketing, and other departments to understand and address customer needs.
Foster a collaboration, innovation, and excellence culture within the engineering team.
Effectively communicate technical concepts and project statuses to non-technical stakeholders.
Infrastructure and Performance:
Optimize system performance and scalability, ensuring the infrastructure can handle future growth.
Lead efforts in cloud integration, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices architecture.
Ensure robust testing, QA processes, and security measures are in place across all projects.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in leading software development teams
7+ years of experience in writing code
Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Go, C++, JavaScript/Typescript).
Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Google
Cloud, Kubernetes), and microservices architectures.
Extensive experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices, including CI/CD
pipelines.
Expertise in database design and management, distributed systems, and API development.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL is desirable.
Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Flutter)
Strong leadership, mentorship, and team-building skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
