Software Engineer (RDF Graph Application ? Taxonomy & Ontology DevOps Product Team)

We are looking for an experienced individual familiar with common DevOps workflows who is keen on applying their breadth of technical knowledge to develop new functionality and enhance the current features of our application. Our software powers AI and machine learning applications and can be deployed with text analytics components to enable semantic tagging and auto-categorisation. Job Description

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated multitasker and a team player. You will be a developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Software development, including requirements study, analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and user training
• Graph data modelling with property graphs and RDF (Resource Description Framework)
• Ontology design using Web Ontology Language (OWL)
• Evaluate user requirements
• Participate in Agile development workflow with our DevOps team
• To continuously and actively contribute to the advancement of the product's innovation, stability, and quality

Qualification

• Degree in Computer Science with Software Engineering major, or equivalent
• Preferably two years relevant job experience, but fresh graduates with solid foundational knowledge are also welcome to apply
• Knowledge of software design, development, and Agile methodologies
• Knowledgeable in Linux, PHP, and JavaScript
• Able to work independently and in teams
• Possess strong analytical, problem-solving & critical thinking skill
• Good communication skills in both written and spoken English
