The Software Engineer, Assistant Manager, is to assist in Application Development, Maintenance and Support, supervise and provide guidance to a team of application developers.

To handle application maintenance & Support, Application change request & developing new application modules
To conduct user requirement study, application analysis and design.
To assist in preparing project execution plan
To coordinate with department heads to manage and plan for application customization on client requirements.
To manage, supervise and coordinate application testing with developers and stakeholders.
To manage and coordinate application deployment.
To track and manage application change request.
To assist and coordinate in DR drills exercise.
To manage IT day-to-day operation activities, i.e., data transfer to clients, Application support, application troubleshooting and bugs fixing, monitor application performance.
To conduct system training to stakeholders
To conduct technical training to developers
To Explore and recommend new technology to do technology refresh and to improve operations efficiency
To explore and recommend application enhancement to improve process efficiency for stakeholders
Bachelor of Degree in computer science, Computer engineering, or Business Information System or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of working experience in software development and maintenance, preferably in the insurance or financial industry
HTML, Java script, Bootstrap, CSS 3 and above
VB, .Net or C# programming language
SQL Server knowledge
SQL Store Procedure
Window Services & application
WEB Services, REST API,
Python Script
Basic knowledge on IIS configuration
