Job Responsibility
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of complex network infrastructures, including WAN, public or private clouds, data center networking, routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, and other configurations.
- Works collaboratively with sales team, technical team and support teams.
- Develops and maintains relationships with prospects, customers, and partners.
- Analyze and determine the root causes of network incidents, implementing solutions, permanent corrective measures, and improvements to boost network reliability.
- Attends in-person meetings with clients to analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose hardware problems.
- Follows standard procedures for properly escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
- Researches, diagnoses, troubleshoots, and identifies solutions to system issues.
- Provides prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
- Able to travel nationwide, able to work on weekends/ outside office hours, as when required.
- Performing ad hoc assigned tasks from immediate superior or manager, as when required.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or degree in IT or computing
- Minimum 2 years of related working experience in networking field.
- Cisco certified (CCNA) or equivalent level of knowledge.
- Solid hands-on configuration experience with more than three data center or enterprise networking solutions such as those from FortiGate, Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point, F5, Peplink, Arbor, Ruijie, H3C, etc.
- Solid understanding of network fundamental, infrastructure, and core concepts, including security such as Firewall and endpoint.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IP protocol (TCP/IP) networking, routing and switching protocols, VLAN, VPN, Firewall, IPS, Load Balancer, and WAF.
Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
