AEON Bank is a dynamic first Islamic digital bank, we are dedicated to leveraging social media to enhance our brand presence and engage with our audience effectively. As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a talented Social Media Sentiment Monitoring Specialist to join our team.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual to monitor, analyze, and report on social media sentiment related to our brand and industry. The Social Media Sentiment Monitoring Specialist will be responsible for tracking online conversations, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize our social media strategies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor social media platforms (e.g., Tiktok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Lowyat, etc) and key postings from certain media (e.g., digital and traditional) for mentions of our brand, products, and relevant keywords.
  • Analyze sentiment and trends in social media conversations to gauge audience perceptions and identify opportunities or risks.
  • Compile and present findings to management across departments and functions
  • To analyze competitors share of voice and derive key insights for the marketing and corporate team's action
  • Utilize social media listening tools and analytics platforms to gather data and generate reports.
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and other teams to share insights and implement strategies to improve brand perception and engagement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, social media best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance monitoring techniques.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience 3 to 5 years in social media monitoring, sentiment analysis, or digital marketing, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Google Data Studio) for creating reports and dashboards.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics and reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for social media and staying informed about industry trends and developments.
