We are looking for a Social Media Executive to join our subsidiary company
FG Media Sdn Bhd who will be responsible for creating, managing, and analyzing content across various social media platforms to build brand awareness, engage with the target audience, and drive business growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a creative mindset and strong analytical skills.
- Managing and engaging in hands on interaction within Malaysiakini's social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
- Acquire, review and continuously improve content and photos to accurately reflect the character and specifications of clients social media content
- Ensure social media content is maintained to the highest quality standards
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts for social media campaigns
- Respond and react to changes within social networks, with special focus on functionality, tool & features, etiquette, boosting and reporting
- Monitor and present relevant data, trends, successes, and exceptions
- Provide creative input on content and ideas regarding social media viral marketing
- Coordinate the creation of graphics and videos suitable to social media curation and contents
- Assist in extracting insights from data, trends, surveys and market intelligence to enhance social media operations
- Assist in ad operations for clients campaigns

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Fresh Graduates are welcomed to apply
- Proven experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of expereince is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creativity and the ability to develop engaging content.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
- Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Working Conditions
- This is a full-time position.
- The role may require occasional evening and weekend work to monitor social media activity and respond to urgent issues.
