Job Summary:The Site Supervisor will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations at the construction site, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves coordinating with subcontractors, managing site staff, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Site Management: Oversee all activities at the construction site, ensuring that work is completed according to the project plan and schedule.
- Team Supervision: Lead and supervise site workers, subcontractors, and other personnel to ensure adherence to safety standards, work quality, and timelines.
Quality Control:
Monitor and inspect all work performed on-site to ensure it meets the companys quality standards and client expectations.Health and Safety Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all site activities comply with company safety policies and relevant regulations.Resource Management: Coordinate the use of materials, tools, and equipment on-site, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and effectively.
- Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Project Manager, site workers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that arise.
Documentation:
Keep accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, incident reports, and progress updates.Problem-Solving:
Address any issues that arise during construction, finding effective solutions to keep the project on track.Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a site supervisory role within the construction industry, preferably with experience in landscaping or similar projects.Education:
Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.Skills:- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and quality control measures.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications in construction management, health and safety (e.g., OSHA), and first aid are a plus.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.- Capable of standing, walking, and moving around the site for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry materials up to [weight limit] pounds.
The role requires working on-site for the duration of the project.
