DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :_
Supervising and managing carpentry projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
Directing and supervising carpentry teams, including carpenters and laborer.
Inspecting workmanship and materials to ensure they meet project requirements and quality standards. Addressing any deficiencies promptly to maintain quality throughout the project.
Enforcing safety regulations and ensuring that all carpentry work is carried out in a safe manner.
Ordering and managing materials, tools, and equipment required for carpentry work.
Collaborating with other trades people and contractors on the construction site to ensure smooth coordination of work activities and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise.
Identifying and addressing any challenges or issues that may arise during the course of the project, such as design changes, material shortages, or unforeseen obstacles. Developing solutions to keep the project on track and minimize delays.
Maintaining accurate records of work progress, including daily reports, work orders, change order and other documentations such as RFI & COI to track project milestones, monitor expenses, and ensure accountability.
Communicating regularly with clients or project personnels to provide updates on project progress, address any concerns or questions they may have, and ensure client satisfaction.
Providing training and mentorship to carpentry team members to support their skill development and ensure a high level of craftsmanship among the team.

REQUIREMENTS:_
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Degree in Interior Design / Construction management or equivalent.
Basic understanding of carpentry materials, techniques and methods of installation and construction.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Good command in written English and Bahasa Malaysia, able to communicate in Mandarin or other Chinese dialects.
Computer skills: Microsoft word, excel, power point; Basic AutoCAD Microsoft project skill will be an added advantage.
Able to work independently, proactive and initiative with minimal supervision
Multitasking & able to work effectively under stressful condition Possess strong leadership
Possess own transportation
