Job Summary:
The Site Rollout Manager for EV Charging Stations will be responsible for managing the rollout of EV charging stations across Malaysia. This role requires strong Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical (CME) experience, gained from large-scale telecoms rollouts. You will lead site construction, manage subcontractors, and ensure all deployment projects are delivered on time and within budget. The role is based in Petaling Jaya and requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management: Lead and oversee the rollout of EV charging stations, ensuring all CME aspects of the projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
2. Subcontractor and Site Supervisor Management: Manage and supervise subcontractors and site supervisors to ensure work is completed to required specifications and safety standards.
3. CME Oversight: Ensure all civil, mechanical, and electrical work aligns with regulatory, safety, and design standards.
4. Rollout Processes: Develop and implement processes for efficient site deployment, ensuring all projects are well-documented and reported to senior management.
5. Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with site acquisition, engineering, and permitting teams to ensure smooth project execution.
6. Quality Control and Compliance: Conduct site inspections to maintain high-quality standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
7. Budget Management: Manage project budgets and expenditures, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
8. Reporting: Use Excel for regular reporting on project status, including progress, risks, and budget tracking.
9. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks during the rollout to avoid project delays or compliance issues.
Key Qualifications:
· Minimum 5 years of experience in large-scale Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical (CME) rollout projects within the mobile telecoms industry.
· Subcontractor Management: Proven experience in managing subcontractors and site supervisors on large rollout projects.
· Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of CME aspects of site deployment, including compliance with industry standards and regulations.
· Rollout Knowledge: Expertise in managing site rollout processes and ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
· Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage internal teams and external vendors.
· Competency in Excel: Strong proficiency in Excel for tracking project data and reporting.
· Microsoft Project: Familiarity with Microsoft Project is a plus but not mandatory.
· Budgeting and Cost Control: Ability to manage project budgets effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree in civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
· Experience working with a telecoms operator or vendor.
· Previous experience in the EV charging infrastructure or renewable energy sectors.
· Familiarity with sustainability and environmental regulations.
