JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Site Reliability Engineer to lead our efforts in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to optimize system performance, monitor and resolve issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure the reliability and performance of our systems
- Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and efficient solutions
- Implement and maintain best practices for clean coding and software development
- Manage and optimize cloud architecture, leveraging AWS and AWS Managed Services
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in site reliability engineering
- Ensure compliance with security and data protection regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience in site reliability engineering or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Agile Development methodologies
- Expertise in clean coding and software development best practices
- Experience with cloud architecture, particularly AWS and AWS Managed Services
- Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Knowledge of security and data protection regulations
