Job Description :- Review Tender Drawings, Construction Drawings (to calculate quantities) and Bills of Quantity to check for discrepancies;
Prepare Project Budget for Management approval;
Project budget control and tracking of costs & quantity including generating cost reports;
Prepare tender costs estimates (post tender);
Responsible for tendering process (post tender) including sourcing for sub-contractors & suppliers;
Prepare sub-contractors certificates of payment according to works completed and evaluate variation claims;
Prepare sub-contractors final accounts;
Others attending project co-ordination meeting at site, liaise with Senior Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager on construction site issues for trouble shooting, report to Senior Quantity Surveyor and Management from time to time on cost and progress matters.
Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
Minimum 3 years working experience in construction or related field
Sound knowledge of pre-contract estimations, project cost control, post-contract administration and tender pricing
Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia is a must
Ability to work independently and diligently with good analytical skills
