Shopify Developer

This opportunity will offer you a chance to work on projects which will have big impact on our commercial growth. Your role will be to work closely with product managers and the business teams to develop new features and to handle day-to-day troubleshooting for our in-house system.

1. It is important to understand our business and business process well for this role.
2. The system is built with Shopify stack.
3. You will develop features in Liquid using Shopify Framework.

Location of role: PJS7, Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya (Hybrid)

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain our e-Commerce site on the Shopify platform.
• Deliver high-performance and high-usability features according to agreed-upon timelines with the business team.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, business teams, and team leads to understand and implement

Requirements

• Commit to continuous improvement and quality assurance of our systems.
• Innovate and propose creative ways to elevate the standards of e-commerce engineering.
• Collaborate within cross-functional teams to build product features for the web platform.

Qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Work experience is mandatory (5+ years of experience)
• Experience with Shopify development is mandatory (either freelance or permanent positions) -> atleast 2+ years of experience
• Familiarity with Front-End Frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, React.js, or similar.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, ECMAScript, or TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of web standards, including CSS and HTML.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for creating user-friendly web experiences.
• Ability to work well in a team setting and meet tight deadlines.
