What youll do:
The primary responsibilities of this position is to perform installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of HVAC/ DC cooling systems in Malaysia. In addition to the role, candidate is required to be on rotational basis standby to support emergent breakdown services.
A. As a field service engineer, you will be expected to be at site to:
a. Install and commission HVAC/Cooling systems at client locations.
b. Conduct routine preventive maintenance on HVAC/ Cooling systems to identify and address potential issues.
c. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC/ Cooling system failures or malfunctions.
d. Provide technical support to customers, answering queries and offering guidance on HVAC/ Cooling system usage.
e. Be available for on-call support to address urgent issues outside regular working hours.
B. When not assigned to customer site, the candidate will work closely with the local Sales Manager to assist in:
a. Developing new opportunities
b. Assisting in the technical aspects of proposals
c. Qualifying local subcontractors
d. Listening to customers and developing solutions based on their pain points.
C. It is expected that 65-90% of your time will be spent on site, primarily in Malaysia.
D. To be committed & responsible for Quality Management System:

c. Communicating to the organization the importance of conforming to QMS requirements
d. Ensuring the QMS meets its goals

Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
A. Min 5-7 year experience testing and commissioning in HVAC systems/ DC Cooling and its associated control systems (PLC ladder logic/ logic block diagrams)
Skills:
B. Fluent in written and spoken English
A. Knowledge in energy-efficient cooling systems, industrial control solutions, and standard operating procedures
B. Knowledge in perimeter cooling, in-row cooling and fan wall.
C. Any additional knowledge in liquid cooling would be a bonus to the role.
