Must have:- Proven experience as a functional Tester with experience in API testing (e.g., Postman, Soap UI) is must and Proficiency in testing methodologies.
Demonstrate familiarity with banking domain applications (Ex: Payments, Loans, STP etc systems ) and regulatory requirements.- Document Testing Artefacts (Test Plan, Test Specification, cases, Test Results, etc.) with clarity.
Ensure adherence to the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) and manage test cases.
- Perform and Execute Reviews and Inspection.
Execute test cases and meticulously report Test Results.- Understand system architecture concepts (Front end applications, Middleware, and Backend systems).
Conduct impact analysis and Root Cause Analysis on identified issues with mitigation planning.
- Resource Planning & Management
Should be able to train and mentor the team members.- Testing management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) effectively.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Display willingness and capability to meet project deadlines and handle urgent issues.
Additional experience or knowledge in test automation tools (e.g., Katalon) would be advantageous.
- Good to have backend systems testing and Database testing knowledge.
