As an
Senior Technician, Facility supporting the
Facility team, you will be trusted to for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting of facility equipment and system in
Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
In this role, a typical day will include:
Operations:
- Adherence to Alcon values and standards, observe and ensure full compliance with Alcon Code of Business Conducts.
- To observe and ensure full compliance with Alcon Health Safety and Environment Standards.
- Execute an efficient and effective PM activities. Ensure Facility equipment and systems such as Boilers achieves minimum downtime and minimum NCR. Provide Facility support to other functions as and when is required.
- Ensure all PM records are properly recorded and kept. Ensure 24/7 round the clock support is provided to production.
- Assist Engineer in cost reduction, cost saving, machine set-up and improve efficiency of PM and machines repairs time.
- Promote effective communication with peers across all shift and ensure efficient shift hand-over and effective start-up meeting
- To investigate the process and quality failures resulted from equipment/process related problem and propose permanent solution
- Responsible for local regulatory requirement for all type of equipment producing high pressure steam
- Updating all equipment and instrument Preventive Maintenance and other records in Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) system in use.
- Strictly adhere 5S, GXP, Safety aspects and perform routine inspection to ensure the systems are operating in safe and good conditions.
- Ensure Chemical & Fire Fighting equipment are managed and maintained in good condition.
- HSE
- Conduct respective area risk analyses to identify issues and preventive measures
- Conduct environmental aspect & impact assessment
- Risk Assessment Team (HIRARC & Aspect/Impact)
- Coordinate and support for preventive measures
- Participate or support with an active role on the site emergency response team.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
- Education: STPM/Certificate or Diploma in Engineering
- Experience: 3 Years in Maintenance of Building management, pest control, cleaning service or HVAC or Electrical/Boiler.
