About The Job
Administrative Duties
- Update the Client Tracker as necessary.
- Set up Transfer Pricing (TP) files when required.
- Prepare invoices as needed.
- Ensure proper document filing upon the completion of relevant TP assignments.
- Keep directors and managers fully informed of all client interactions (e.g., document and circulate client calls or emails to the engagement team).
- Arrange for the dispatch of documents.
- Be familiar with standard procedures for TP assignments, including document filing and server storage.
TP Compliance and Advisory Assignments
- Draft proposals and complete client acceptance forms.
- Prepare kick-off meeting slides and interview questionnaires for Functions, Assets & Risk (FAR) Analysis.
- Participate in interviews, documenting verbal information provided by interviewees, with interviews conducted at various locations within Malaysia and occasionally in neighboring countries.
- Conduct comparable searches for TP assignments and assist with purchasing financial statements as needed.
- Draft and review TP Documentation (TPD) and benchmarking reports, conducting relevant research.
- Draft TP advice, conducting necessary research to complete the advice.
- Manage and meet all internal and client-set deadlines.
- Discuss any issues with the engagement team.
- Address review points raised by Managing Consultants or Directors and discuss with them if necessary.
- Ensure all review points are resolved, document important information, and file it appropriately.
- Ensure deliverables sent to the client for review are thorough and accurate.
Training
- Attend all training sessions and ensure adequate preparation.
- Revise training materials and study relevant subjects to enhance knowledge.
Qualifications/Education & Work Experience
- Minimum degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CIA).
- At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of:
- TP provisions in the Income Tax Act 1967
- Income Tax (Transfer Pricing) Rules 2023
- Malaysian TP Guidelines
- OECD TP Guidelines
- Global TP Developments
- IRB clarifications on TP issues
Personal Skills / Attributes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional appearance and good personal grooming.
