The Senior Executive, Regional Human Resource (Generalist) is responsible for the end-to-end recruitment of junior to senior candidates for Logs+. He/she will ensure the fair and consistent hiring practice in Ninja Van to provide the best possible candidate experience. In addition, he/she will also be responsible for partnering with the business to understand their hiring strategy and to recommend/advise on suitable solutions. He/she will deliver orientation sessions for new hires and help to ensure they settle well within NV. He/she develops the employee engagement surveys, analyses data collected and implements initiatives to enhance employees engagement levels and well-being. This also involves active collaboration internally within HR to support the Logs+ business in optimizing HR-related issues.
Responsibilities
Conduct initial screening of job applications resumes and relevant skill qualifications
Collect information on potential new hires to support the selection processes
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulations in selection and assessment activities
Respond to routine queries from candidates
Prepare employment offer letters and contracts, following standard templates and regulations
Ensure regular cadence of communications and provide a high touch level of partnership with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and advise them based on their hiring requirements
Manage candidates well to ensure a positive candidate experience.
Deliver new hire orientation programmes
Coordinate the access set up for new hires
Prepare personal file for new hires
Assist in the design of new hire orientation programmes
Maintain accurate candidate and employee records and data management in the relevant systems.
Involved in and support on projects that work on the continuous improvement of processes and systems.
Collate responses to employee engagement surveys
Collate employees learning needs
Support execution of programmes and initiatives designed to improve employee engagement
Follow-up on employee learning activities
Requirements
Degree from a recognized university
At least 3-5 years as a HR generalist or recruiter
Strong rapport building and communication skills
Good understanding of the recruitment lifecycle and basic knowledge of recruitment strategy
Good understanding of roles, hiring market and business strategy
Strong written skills
Detail-oriented and organized
