Senior System Analyst_Onsite Malaysia

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Analyst to join our team onsite in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have 5-9 years of experience in the job market context of Southeast Asia and possess a strong background in system analysis and design. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex systems, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to optimize system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyze, design, and implement technical solutions for BLP/Loyalty systems, unsecured loans, and card domain projects.
2. Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into system specifications.
3. Develop and maintain systems using Oracle DB, Java, and Unix scripting.
4. Optimize database performance and ensure the reliability and scalability of systems running on Linux/Unix platforms.
5. Conduct root cause analysis and resolve technical issues efficiently.
6. Lead the technical implementation of system enhancements and upgrades.
7. Provide technical support during the testing, deployment, and post-implementation phases.
8. Document system designs, configurations, and processes for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.
9. Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Domain Expertise:
• In-depth knowledge of Unsecured Loans and the Card domain.
• Experience with BLP/Loyalty systems.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Oracle DB, Java, SQL, and Unix scripting.
• Strong knowledge of Open Systems (Linux/Unix).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the financial services or banking sector.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
