As a Senior Special Needs Teacher, you will lead and work closely with children who have various needs requiring specialised attention and understanding. Your role includes conducting both one-to-one and group classes, mentoring junior teachers, and overseeing the implementation of planned programmes. You will also be responsible for managing the physical structure of learning environments, implementing visual strategies, and ensuring the effective use of teaching methods tailored to each students needs.
Candidates must possess a minimum of a Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- At least 2-5 years of experience working with special needs children, with some experience in a senior or leadership role.
Excellent communication skills in English. Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is an added advantage.- A passion for working with children and an understanding of their developmental needs.
A positive attitude, punctuality, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
